I do have plenty to back it up. The OP is a good start too. Your OP is not even related to death penalty use and neither shows it ineffectiveness or effectiveness. Get a clue, who's going to read any other links you post when you start off with unrelated information.Do you find that to be an intelligent way to get your voice heard, and your opinion accepted? I don't see that it has made you any progress at all. I'm sure you'll blame that on all of our "lack of intelligence and barbarism" as well. But frankly it has nothing to do with anything just like your OP. I have my issues with the death penalty but I recognize that there are far too many factors to make such a gross assumption about people I don't know. I would not be so barbaric is to impose values without something concrete to back it up. This opinion of yours is nothing more than that an opinion. And based on your statements probably a completely biased an ill informed opinion at that. I've no use for it.

Colorado death penalty has been determined unconstitutional and we haven't executed anyone in a very long time. Okay I will change my wording of my opinion. All death penalty supporters are ignorant in any state. They show the worse of human kind making them no better than criminals. We show the worst of human kind? I was also told some pretty graphic details of what happened from a close family member. People like this deserve the death penalty. PERIOD. If you haven't noticed, the most notorious state for executing criminals, Texas, is not on that list. Having the death penalty means nothing if a state doesn't use it! In Texas if you kill somebody we'll kill you right back! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and yet there are so many there that really deserve it .. MO. use to be on that list but then I moved and it droped to the bottom of the list . and yes your right about this poster

The SOB that hurt my daughter and her sister is lucky Law Enforcement got to him before I did. I would have made what they were doing in CIA prisons look like childs play, and I would have enjoyed every minute of it. These people are predators that will not stop until they are dead. More proof of the animals these people are, in his closing statement when he addressed the coourt he accused my 8 year old daughter and her 5 year old sister of seducing him and that he did nothing wrong because they wanted it. So excuse my lack of compassion for evil.

Thanks, sorry about m generalization. I only have one child, her sister is her half sister with her mom and step dad, still doesn't mean I dont care. I have never felt feelings that I felt when I found out about what happened. It scared me because I was really ready to do some serious damage(to say the least)to this guy. Then for him to only get 5 years pissed me off more and made me wish I found him.

I actuall did a debate for class on this very topic. The death penalty seems to have no effect on crime rate. Unfortunately it all costs several times more to kill them, then keep them alive for life too. Trust me, i have no quams about seeing an evil person be executed, but it just seems a little illogical.
