Rainy day of desire


Glass soldier of faith.
Where is the value.....
Following orders given out by love.
A heart destined only to be shattered.
Wounded on the battlefield of love.

Rainy day of desire

Taken prisoner in time by desire.
A ransom payed by the tears on your face.
Emotions wave a flag of surrender.
Unaware heartache doesn't take any prisoners.
The sounds of war echo off courtroom walls.
Victims of trust bleed into emotional emptiness.

Rainy day of desire

Tin soldiers in the wind.
Hallmark cards worn for armor.
Pass memories echoing out sounds of regrets.
The mortal wounds of emotions, play out upon your face.

Rainy day of desire

Champagne tears fade into midnight memories of despair.
A diamond of trust that no longer has any value.
A waterfall of memories, flowing into a river of tears.
A Glass soldier held for emotional ransom.
A rainy day of desire written upon your face.

poem was pretty good with a lot of subject material,i myself write more rhymns ,,i tend to think in rhymns,,,,go figure ,,,lolllll

Thanks... I broke away from rhythmic for poetic license, but still acknowledge rhythmic flow at times.
