isnt random bugging the reason that we are here? :) Yes I agree that there are pervs out there, then you block them, but the "randomness" is what is fascinating here for me.... I am not in search of anyone though so just a "hello" or "hey what are you"? Comes as a welcome surprise !!! I'm not here for random bugging. I stay to talk to specific people and to participate in the forums. I choose who I talk to and who I ignore, and thankfully turning off my IM's helps me with that. |

Thank you, and see what I mean? If I did not appreciate that I would click the button that says Mute this person.... that is all I am saying and I realize that a guys perspective is TOTALLY different than a girls.....

My IM is on. I can count the people that have IM'd me on one hand for the last year.

So far it seems most have IM's off. I understand why now. If you prefer you can turn it on & then it can always be turned back off if that's what you decide. Just random experience I'd rather be nudged or an email then if I want to continue to chat with that person I'll take it to yahoo or phone. |

Mine is on. nobody bugs me. If they do I'll turn it off if I dont like them.

Mine is off. I tried turning it back on and even put in my profile to IM me only with a question or concern for the site. Needless to say, it is off now because I get IMs saying "let me see you" and they are no where near me

well I say no where near me because they don't want to meet in person....just web cam (like that would happen)

If a web cam situation happens, I always thought it was between two people that already have something going.

I thought that I may have opened myself up to jokers when I said that no one ever sends me an IM. I guess I should be grateful. |

Have mine turned off. Plan to keep it that way. Everytime I would go to type something in the forums, I would get an IM; always from a stranger.
