yeah back then we had a LOT of imported Michiganders and Wisconsinites and stuff.

The rest of the country was in recession and the oil embargo. But West Texas oilfields were booming so they all came down for work. I met several really nice people from Michigan

We told em they were really Texans that they just got there late

Nah, the Northerners were like a breath of fresh and very different and twisted Pig Latin blood ... New toys and perspectives, shiny ...

But, sure was a hoot how quickly they started claimin' they were from Texas w/ such accents as those ...

My Ma...as a grandma..

The little neighbour boy who sang like the angel he was...back when we were six, catching frogs by the creek.

flowerforyou ... We all get 'em!

If you could go back in time and/or place ...

think ... Where would you find yourself?

Where or What or Who do you miss the very most?

I've been a little meloncholy myself today. I miss my Pops so very much. He always loved to watch me play baseball. I would do anything for one fishing trip with him and my brother out at the farm...smokin

I miss my old biker days in Florida...fishing expeditions under the bridge in estuary waters...watching the dolphins...long putts on A1A & I-4...

As far as missing loved ones...whether living or dead...there are too many to count...

I miss my birdog, Bean!

... Always called her Beaner ... flowers

She kept me so safe on the roads and in the woods; back then I was almost always on one or the other ...

... Girl could go instinctual on a dime, whenever a bear or moutain lion was close, on point shaking!!!

Once, in Montana, on the Swan Refuge River ... love

... I was camped where the bear liked to sun; Beaner was just beside herself and took to stayin' in the truck ... She so was pizzzzzed that I was stayin' put!

A lad came down from towne to check on me everyday, begging me to come stay in his home ... he was SO uber worried!

Prettiest camp spot I've EVER had, bear had great taste!

Finally? They both got so on my nerves?

I scooped up a bag of his fur from his grooming ...

And split, just to give Beaner and the guy a break ...

drinker ... Prettiest place on Earth, w/ my BEST friend EVER, Beaner ...

I miss so may people and places but for me it would be the badlands In S.D with My beloved dog Simba!! with just a tent and back pack we would camp in the sacred land and hear the wolves and elk sing and watch the northern lights at night, with no one around for 40 miles!! A bottle of wine and Dan folgelburg on the head phones made a great weekend!!

Hmm, things I miss...

Tearin' up the town in Las Vegas with my bro' gamblin', drinkin' and seein' some really cool shows.

My dog, Boomer "Boomy," R.I.P. little buddy. My ex took him away from me when we broke up. I loved that dog to death and took better care of him, more than she ever did. And he just passed away a week ago.

Cruisin' up and down Erie Blvd. on a Friday or Saturday night with my friends back in Syracuse.

Soakin' in the sunshine, walkin' on the beaches, kayakin' the bayous, eatin' the fantastic seafood in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Fishin' on the Snake River in Lewiston, Idaho

Going to San Francisco for the sights and sounds of a truly remarkable city.
