Most of the garbage you hear from the government haters, and yes it is garbage, is something they were TOLD, not something they experienced or have seen. They are raised on it and then they read the right wing hate sites and repeat it all. It becomes habit and they surround themselves with like minds so they never have to really consider the wrongness of it. They get taught to call anything different "liberal" and therefore bad and they continue the dark force of this unmerited, unjustified sickness. Sadly all Americans have to suffer through them. I know I would just like to see something come from them that has any positivity to it. Something that shows they actually think it through. Instead of the victim philosophy of fearmongering and hatemongering. I TOLD YOU-don't call me right wing!! Those are fightin' words!   I don't fit the lame template you've concocted, and I loathe the government in general. I have trouble sometimes deciding whether to be mad or amused by your absurd, baseless State-worship. I think I'll be amused  and continue to expose the State for the tyranny that it is. You misrepresent me here. The group definition holds true for the most regardless of the denial from them. I do not worship anything. And to walk around with hatred of an institution that can be altered by myself if I make the effort doesn't sound intelligent to me so pardon me for not participating. If I don't like what the government does I will continue to work to change it as I have always done. No hatred is required for this. If you read the enlightenment era liberals(the true, original liberals), they had a certain hate for the government. This is why many of the American liberals considered the Articles of Conferdation (and later the Constitution) to be "Chains that bind" the government. They were wrong, of course, (just as liberals and other archists are today) as time and time again the government violates the self-evident Natural Law as laid out in the Declaration of Independence. |

It's not healthy to worship at the altar of more or bigger government, and I resent your singling out ONE geographic area as having a greater propensity for 'hatred' than, oh, say, the NORTH ... Ever talk with a Northern 'Liberal' ... ? Get a grip. It makes victims of the people who believe it and brings undue apathy. The constructors of our by laws did not believe they were gods and were making a bible. They believed they were laying a beginning guideline based on what they knew to be true of the best way for a government to govern. They did good. But times change and the knowledge they had is outdated now. We have to change our by laws to accommodate the changing humans. Our government has as much power as we have allowed it, either by choice or by apathy. I would hope those taught haters all over the country but mostly in the south would question what they have been taught with no justification and become functioning parts of this country. Instead of the mud that holds the country back. |

Not "hatred or mistrust" but accountabilty, critical, vigilance, informed, and skeptical of the almighty gov. Something we should all be mindful of, whatever political ideology we belong to.

It takes participation and involvement to be a productive part of the government. Hatred just freezes a person into an apathetic mindset spewing misinformation and basically not participating positively in any of the processes. It is taught for the most part, passes from generation to generation. Until one of the generation actually opens their mind a bit and considers why it doesn't make sense, what they were taught, it will continue to be a bane of this country. |

The real legacy of freedom comes from Southerners like Thomas Jefferson and Jefferson Davis. The Northerners contributed very little to the philosophy of freedom because they traditionally benefited financially from keeping the average American under the tyranny of government law and banking. |

I have been to the south and lived there for a while. I saw and heard it. As for the rest of the post basically not true.
