when it says you've reached your maximum emails, how long do you have to wait to communicate with someone. is there a way around this if they are on your friends list?

yeah...lol...and now i have someone wanting to chat with me, but i cant email them, is there a way around this?

In an hour! That is the limit. Well actually it is Three Posts per Subject, PER hour! That is the limits.

I'm not sure what the rule is, but my guess would be there is a limit per day, and I don't believe it applies to friends, but I could be wrong. Try looking around the help forums to see if this question has come up before.

i figured out how to talk to them without emailing them...i just added them as a friend and i learned how to IM them...lol..it worked...still cant send any email today tho...oh well

how do you send an im? if they are your friend then a box will appear that says Instant message

Hi, I believe there is a 24 hour time limit on sending emails once you have reached the limit. This is due to scammer problems. As far as IMs, you can send IMs to anyone provided that you aren't blocked by them and if the other member has the IM turned on. If you see the IM chat box on the profiles, then you can send an IM. If there isn't a box, then the IM chat is off Hope this helps, Kim

If you're friends, ask them for their personal email address. I have the email address of all the people I consider real friends here, so I don't have to rely on the site's email system to keep in contact with them.
