I just moved back home after a long stay in the UK. It's been so long since I have been in the states I don't have much for social connections anymore. I'm recently divorced and glad to be done with the whole mess of the past few years. My problem is how do you meet people who dont see divorced and assume I did something wrong!

Just becuz ur divorced does not mean u did something wrong.My ex-husband fooled everyone around me as well as myself.He acted like he was prince charming until we got married and bought a house together.Turns out he was a very mean abusive alcoholic.He did horrible things to myself as well as my daughter.Getting out was the greatest thing I ever did. I find that most guys I meet will ask why I am divorced and once I tell them in a short version why, they have no problem with it.If a guy did have a problem with it,then it is their problem,not mine.

start off by saying your single and over time and conversation the truth comes out.
