the home congressman tom Perriello's brother was attacked by an unknown inividual(s) at some point last night when someone cut the lines on his gas grill causing the yard to fill with gas. the leak did not cause an explosion. the local chapter of the tea party had given out the adress shortly before the attack. the tea party denied responsibility and also denied knowing who was resposible. at this time there is no evedence of tea party involvement. the FBI is investagating. for more information see http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/03/24/fbi-investigating-perriello-incident-in-virginia/?fbid=kIH30hsJWur

this cracks me up. you have no idea why or even who did this yet you feel the need to run here and report it. so what you went to look at the damage what did it disclose to you?

I'll tell you, nothing. no facts, no intent...NOTHING

things like this are happening all around the country to people on both sides of this issue, it is ridicules, but it is no less ridicules than to compare it to anything that is going on in Afghanistan.

He makes a good point. Besides this is an act of Domestic Terrorism, plain and simple.

The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are investigating a series of threats against Democrats in the House of Representatives who backed the recent health care legislation.

"We've had some very serious incidents that have occurred in the last 48 to 72 hours," House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said at a news conference Wednesday.

The incidents have ranged from threatening phone calls to vandalism of lawmakers' offices. Hoyer initially wouldn't say how many lawmakers feel threatened, but when pressed, he said: "a significant number, over 10."

Rep. Louise Slaughter of New York says someone left her a voice mail threat that used the word "snipers."

And Tuesday, the brother of Rep. Tom Perriello discovered that the gas line connecting a propane tank to an outdoor grill at his home near Charlottesville, Va., had been severed.

Days earlier, conservative activists in the area had posted his address online. Nigel Coleman, who heads the Danville, Va., Tea Party and posted Perriello's address on his Facebook page, says they did not encourage or condone the attacks.

"We wanted people to go by and talk to their congressman," Coleman said.

A spokesman for Rep. Russ Carnahan told politico.com that a coffin was left in front of the congressman's St. Louis home.

House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, was highly critical of the threats Wednesday.

"I've got to tell you that violence and threats are unacceptable. It is not the American way," he said on Fox News.

Rep. Russ Carnahan lives in my city. They did a mock funeral procession and left a coffin in front of his home.

Really? Apparently the government thinks so because Department of Homeland Security was involved with this and the possible anthrax letter that someone posted the article on.

Terrorism: The systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective. Terrorism has been practiced by political organizations with both rightist and leftist objectives, by nationalistic and religious groups, by revolutionaries, and even by state institutions such as armies, intelligence services, and police.

If the teabaggers gave the address out, they should be held responsible for that much.

There is a growing number of concerns about terroristic activity in the teabaggers.

Isn't that funny how the those who cried "terrorist" have no problem acting like one.
