okay for u older birds, and younger ones 2.
someone wrote a report, and we need to exercise about l hour a day. inspite of everything.flowerforyou

i rode the bike at the gym yesterday for 85 minutes. my knees are a little sore today, but since i'm just starting back i'll take a day off.
once i'm back into working out regularly, i'll be going 5 days a week for roughly 3 hours at a time.

Tessa, I admit it every day. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery, or so I've heard. laugh

yeah, the second is doing something about it.

Got real lazy over the past few years, went from 185 to 245 - ouch. Started working out and lots of cardio, lost 25 so far, 25 to go, until then the fat me pic stays on my profile. I cannot remember ever being so sore for so long, silly me for letting myself go. But I do have to say, the body is remarkable in its ability to adapt and recover. I went from barley able to walk a mile to walk/run 5+ miles six days a week and a ten miler on the weekends.
awesome. my new role model.

My moment came when I had more clothes that didnt fit, then ones that did.I was also miserable and not comfertable in my own skin.Since then I have lost 23 pds and plan on loosing 30 more.I also bike and walk on the treadmill whenever possible.Getting started is hard-but once u build up stamina it can be addicting.

I think I mostly just need to start excercising & tone up. Don't need to lose any weight just redifine where the weight goes & tighten my muscles up. I've got curves where they aren't suppossed to be & not enough where I want em! rofl

i used a bmi calculator last night and it says i'm 35% body fat. apparently i need to lose 80+ pounds to be considered not overweight.
i guess i found my new target weight.

All one thing? Or do you shake it up? I find diversity works best for me. When I go to the Rec Center, I do everything from free-weights, to circuit, to treadmill, spinning, eliptical, stair-climb, and swimming. You're always exercising, but not stuck on the same thing all the time.

Good answer. It's not about what you can't do, but what you can do. Just do it. It's not a competition, but motivation, and feeling good doing it. It works, but you have to keep doing it.happy

Shake it up, ooh, ooh
