I wish the best for you. My sister used to be on a morphine drip and is now on the same pain meds they give 3rd degree burn victims, so I can understand what you are going through.

I'm not sure what your medical problem is, but if it is pain, try hot baths, heating pads, ice packs, etc

Best of luck to you

I used to be on so much morphine that it would make me throw-up. It doesn't matter if your pain is internal or not, as pain can still be blocked with things like a T.E.N.S. unit. I'm surprised your doctor hasn't brought this up. I hope you can find a good solution for whatever the problem is flowerforyou

coco....look into herbal teas. I'm not saying it will cure whatever or get rid of all the pain, but it might ease things.

Me and my sister has a hereditary blood disease. Her's is worse than mine. I have tried and given her certain herbal teas that seem to ease things a bit.

Everyone's body reacts differently to things. Just trying to help you find some relief. I see my sister in a lot of pain and I take care of her (she is bed ridden) so I can empathize with you. flowerforyou

Glad to help. If you want to understand how pain is perceived by the brain , check out these two links....

Remember, pain is not bad. It is trying to tell you that something is wrong. The key is not to mask the pain, but heal whatever is wrong...

Yes, but sometimes that is a option for some. My neighbor is on methadone for pain, thats a new one for me. Morphine makes me sick, tried the methadone 1x, that made me silly and didn't work either. Percoset works for me, but not lortab. weir...everyone's chemistry is so different.

Pain is not about chemistry.

morphine is very addicting!!

Thank you. Very good point. Morphine used to also be called laudanum (back when it was sold freely).
