No ONE has the time anymore, say-you, say-me say-any-kind-of-WE.
get-up, wake-up, coffee-up---coffee-down, get around, get-down.
Cars all flying, everyones in this rush to crush go trying.
Cut-me off, piss-me off, take my ramp, and get-off.
Park a block away, never any closer ones,, every-damn-day.
Fast pace walk, trying to beat that time-clock.
Three seconds left when I punch-it, feel like crunching-it.
No-time to waste, staedy fast pace, staying in this daily race.
Dozing off with eyes wide open, paper-work piled high, i'm slopin.
Moving to feel awake, oh damn,,,lunch time, and I'm late.
Around the corner to go eat, already feeling dead-on-my-feet.
Standing in a ten person line, hearing all of them just whine.
back to my desk,,,pen in hand, now I lost my todays to-do plan.
Grrrrrrrr, as I search around, ah hah,,,Found.
Phone-calls, thin-walls, panic foot-steps, down-the-halls.
Four PM time to punch out, hurry just to, trip-and-shout.
Out to my car,,wishing it was a bar, glad my home isn't that far.
Caught the red-light, now seeing a wreck in-sight,,,,
Its bad, now I'm sad, locked here to wait, there goes my date.
Get home, lock the door, run a bath, as I drop to the floor.
Ankle twisted, dam rug, anyway!!Same damn shlt everyday.
