There's an aching feeling
inside my chest
But I shake it with a smile
and hope for the best

Behind these eyes
and light laughter
Are dark blinds
and emotions that falter

How are you today
You ask me with concern
I smile in such a way
the way I had learned

Everything is alright
Everything is fine
I fool you with eyes so bright
And that smile of mine
