... Anything worthy of comment? Any dawgs we'd be better off missing? I've just seen ... "The Box" .... Hmmmm, thought provoking, sure ... I did expect more from the cat that made Donnie Darko though, might have made my expectations too great ... Meh, suppose such genius is near impossible to recapture in some sorta parallel replication? ... Def makes ya consider nose bleeds in a whole new way. And, I loved the scene where he makes the choice, then goes through the 2nd gate ... ... Jean-Paul Sartre: The question becomes whether to enter the final chamber free or not??? ... (paraphrased) Hmmmm ... I grew up at NASA, in the heart of Secret Serviced 'Intelligence' ... ... Kind of an oxymoronish heading, that. Have you seen this one, what were/are your thoughts?

I saw "Precious". It was not as graphic, thank God, as I thought it would be in terms of the abuse. It was touching, a bit painful to watch, but uplifting and hopeful also.

saw the lovely bones the other night with my sister that was a very good movie my son birthday is coming up and we plan on taking him to see avitar

Saw another lil Indie ... "Trucker" ... About a 28ish tough, f'n' feisty and ornery female cross~country 18 wheeler ... ... Her lil, long ago left behind 11 year old son is dropped back on her doorstep ... Great character development and study ... Thoroughly enjoyed this one!

Yeah, many did not like Avatar and saw it as Hollywood Formulaic ... ... Me ... Raised in high level military ... and as a budding lil soon to be witch doctor tribalist? I thoroughly related and LOVED this one, my name was ALL over it!

Hard Candy - really dark and weird, though. The Basketball Diaries - really dark and about drugs. Like Wolf said, The Invention of Lying was funny. Oldboy - if you're feeling like something foreign. But get the subtitled version. Kids - but everyone's seen that. The Jacket - just amazing. Great psychological flick. Hehe. Let me know if you want more.
