it's been raining for 2 days in New York, going stir crazy went to early dinner, sirloin steak, baked potato, veggies, mexican fried ice cream (yummy), bout to snuggle up on the couch & watch old movies. what do you do on a day like today?

it's been raining for 2 days in New York, going stir crazy went to early dinner, sirloin steak, baked potato, veggies, mexican fried ice cream (yummy), bout to snuggle up on the couch & watch old movies. what do you do on a day like today? Mary, I'm in NY-we are just starting to get the rain-it's windy though. You sure have the right idea on how to spend rainy day. I'm going to get a good meal and settle down for a movie myself now-thanks for the tip!!

I could watch that all day as well. |

I drove an hour in this heavy rain and wind to my childhood friend's son's Eagle Scout Ceremony. It was well worth the trip--very emotional, visited Mom while I was down that way and now I'm home. I'll eat, play on here and catch up with friends.

I do a 500 mile run speeding to make my appt,,I make it,,barely now tired and hungry,,so I start looking for a motel and I am in Armish
country here in PA,,,and the traffic sucks as no one will give ya any room,,and then I pass one and it takes me an hour to get back to it,,,then I had no restraunt close by so I had to order delivery now I am waiting still on food,,,wink,THATS been my day so far... |

Feeling a little blue here, so I bought myself a couple of bunches of cheap grocery store posies. Put them in 3 separate vases. Now I've got a little something extra to smile all through my little house. Making dinner for a friend later...simply broiling steaks, as I'm not much of a cook.

I got up for about 2 hours this morning & decided to lay back down. Just woke up about 5pm. So, I guess I just blew the day away!!

The weather doesn't affect my activities- I do what I normally do; read, hang on mingle, talk to my friends, just whatever. Then again, I'm one of those people who hates the outdoors, so I couldn't care less if it rains or not because no way in hell do I want to be out amongst the bugs and wind and dirt, etc.
