Saw it in 3D. I def liked it. Just cant decide if I loved it or not. Its right there. I just think for some reason....I dont like the girl they chose to play Alice. And i dont know why that is...she did a good job. I have nothing against her. Ive never seen her before that movie.

Depp was mad as a hatter all right. Played the role well. Very interesting and engaging story-line, and the efx were hecka cool. I especially loved the Cheshire Cat. He was one cool dude, I just wish he had a greater part. Alan Rickman was good as the blue caterpillar too. Love his voice.

The best reason to watch the movie is Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. As far as actually grading the movie ... I give it a 3.5.
Since its supposed to be a sequel to the original book (Through the Looking Glass), the story is lacking since its little more than a rehash of that material. Its ok, but the pacing made me feel like I was being dragged unwittingly through a hole through the center of that book (a rabbit's perhaps. :) ) I saw it in 3D which was great, but if at anytime I was looking at anything other than what they intended me to look at, I got very disoriented. |

It was ok.
I've been disappointed in Burton lately...and thought this movie would make me like him again... nope. ...it was just ok. I'm an Alice freak, so maybe I'm just hard to please? |

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, even though the 3D made me feel dizzy by the end of the movie. Johnny Depp was great as the Mad Hatter. I am definitely contemplating getting it on DVD when it comes out.
