I kind of like the nudge. Its a non insulting way to establish if an interest might be mutual. If there is a return nudge one can at least be more confident that their initial conversation will be welcomed.

 That's the idea. There have been some changes. You can now block someone from nudging you. Blocking these also block emails or instant messages, and vice versa.

Hey Mark, isn't there some way to also track who
you nudged?
I look at the list of nudges and cannot recall to
whom I sent one..

Oh.
And also HATE the nudges :-)

Some of my friends send me nudges, and I like it. It's like they're saying "Hey, I'm thinking about you."

I tend to be a little leery of nudges from total strangers, though. A question of intent, I suppose.

I like them for the same reason that a few of us do. It's nice getting them from a friend. I don't get many and usually if I get them from somone i don't know. It helps break the ice, and knowing most women wont make the first move. I say there is nothing wrong in having the use of them.

Aw, I think they are fun. When I want to buck up a friend, and I don't want to burden them with a bunch of blather, a "nudge" is perfect.
