Authorities bust 3 in infection of 13M computers

Authorities have smashed one of the world's biggest networks of virus-infected computers, a data vacuum that stole credit cards and online banking credentials from as many as 12.7 million poisoned PCs.

This is a good thing, i suspect more arrests will be made. Now, if we can just get another good 419 bust...i know..i know, asking for too much..But maybe, just maybe, the FCC and FBI will start looking deeper in to this.

Unfortunately, no. I can research it, but it will take time. I would suspect, that infected machines would simply become sluggish. It's pretty much spyware..Free computers with tons of memory may not even appear to be infected. More ladened machines, will likely run slower.

My concern is, that the program could be re-initiated. I am sure, the NSA has considered the possibility, and are monitoring very closely.

One thing i will mention here. People are worried that the NSA would monitor your every move. That is simply an impossibility. They would implement watchdog programs, which would detect unusually large data transfer. This would not mean anything, to average user.

My Dad was telling me about this tonight. He said that his computer has the virus and his security isn't doing its' job with getting rid of it. He's going to call McAfee about it.
