what is the best way a person can get to know someone they are interested in online???
same question but in real life? how do you catch their attention and hold it? |

Same answer whether it's online or face to face... Talk to them
(Only difference for me is I speak better than I type had to correct this one  )

Listening to them...about their life...what they have to say...their interests. Most people just want somebody to listen to them.

Find out what someone is interested in and ask them questions about it, adding whatever small pieces of information you know on the subject as a driving force for them to talk more. Best way to get someone to remember you. |

A lot of people go to therapists just cuz' they're paid to listen. Isn't that sad...that you actually have to pay somebody to listen to you because no one else will?
