I can't do a movie alone either.. I think I'll go get the wine, grab a bite to eat to bring back to the room and work and play on here... I'm very disappointed in my friends.. I thought we were far closer than that... I guess I was wrong...

Eh, I experienced something similar last year, I found out my friends of over 20 years weren't really my friends. Better to find out late than never. Did they make excuses or just bail for no reason?

One never responded when I gave my final info a few days ago which is the same as what I've said all along but told her I'd let her know if anything changed.. Another responded with "are you staying longer" like he forgot I was coming and had said it was so important to hang out.. Said he's be my driver too, thank God I didn't count on that!

Well, you have to do what it takes to make you happy. I got sick of my so-called friends so I stopped speaking to them. That's not the right solution for everyone, of course.
