Dear GOP'ers....you can't portray Obama as being the threat to America's way of life and then 90 seconds later say he's more of the same. Pick ONE and run with it.

I'm beginning to regret posting the the entire thing in the first place now.
It was intended as a joke.
Seems as if my sense of humour is not to everyones liking.

Jeez.
You have Obama. We have Brown, Is there a colour oriention scheme indicated here somewhere?
and if so, in which direction is it headed?
Either way. It still bears the same shade!!!

Yeah!! At least Obama got Guantanimo closed, and stopped that warrantless wire tap thing, and has stopped the Feds getting your personal cell phone location data whenever they want! Oh,..wait,...
never mind!

Well thank goodness that Obama got the country back on the right track and didn't let unemployment get above 8%!
Oh wait,...
never mind.

Well at least Obama, with a supermajority in congress, got healthcare passed!
Oh,...wait,...
never mind.

Well at least Obama isn't single-handely destroying the Democratic party!
Oh wait,...
never mind.

What I STILL don't get is how you can constantly insult/jerk our president and don't even live here in the US. Whats your point of reference?

I enjoyed reading your post...I thought it was funny, interesting, and like I said in earlier post...probably truth as well!

I wouldn't worry too much about what the others who wanted to turn it into a political thing thought!

It was as good of any of your other humor jokes have been! Keep up the good work! JMO-If I still have one!

I receive a lot of my material from my cousin by email.
She has lived in S.C. for the last 40 years.
I am just sharing what she shares with me.
If it isn't to your taste, then I apologise for that.
It's only a matter of taste.

Humour and in particular World Political humour is International. bigsmile

South Carolina, eh? The state with a governor who got ::cough:: lost :::cough::: for a few days last year? She _did_ tell you about Mark Sanford, right?

I am American and seems Brits know Obummer fer wut he is better than a lot of Americans.

Thanks for the post, UK!

It is my assumption that NONE of the Brits voted for him...so, they must know something that we don't!

(I didn't vote for him either) so, I guess that make me smarter than a 5th grader(TV show)!laugh drinker

Yea, more hearsay from the Brits...

Thats what I'm talking about. When you make jokes about something you don't have first hand experience about, you're just showing ignorance. It's like I can talk about my family but if you say it because I said it, you don't really 'know' what you're talking about. It's like people watching a certain news station or reading something in a newspaper and taking it as gospel truth. They vote that way, form their beleifs and judge innocent people by what 'others' say, instead of searching for the truth themselves.
In todays world with so much information at our finger tips, it's still such a surprise that people are prejudice, ignorant (ie the KKK still alive and kicking). It starts small but by the time it gets around the circle you have a crowd beleiving a man guilty and hanging.
baaa baaaa.

why is it that Americans won't hesitate to make jokes or form opinions about other countries and their leaders, but other countries can't do the same to us?

We get news about other countries to know what's going on over there and they get news about ours

Who makes jokes at the expense of others? or other countries? I've never heard any.
And we just get what the media tells us, which is usually slanted from peoples thoughts...or party reporting.

I've been here long enough to have seen it...but I, also, said Americans form opinions (not just jokes) and they voice their opinions about other countries.

Happens online and in real life

People in other countries get news about the US just like we get news about other countries. Slanted media or not....people here in the US still form opinions from it.

and that is the main problem with people. Thankfully, with being able to get online ignorance can be remedied by knowledge, and things are, ever so slowly, changing. Thats why I speak up to somethings like this at times.

we do that in our own country laugh It's always this side vs that because of whatever source.

I just wonder if the replies would be different if the joke was about Bush. Would people say that even the other countries can see it?

I think too much at times. Who ever it is, I just can't see making remarks or jokes without REALLY knowing what a person is like. I know, I live in a perfect world, but...at least it's minelaugh .flowerforyou
I think, whoever it is, is trying the best they know how, past or present. It must be a extremely difficult position. And everyone makes mistakes, they're not Gods but unfortunately..you can't tell some people that, they take out their own frustrations and mistakes on others esp. figureheads. MHO is that is pretty much what the president is, not that much clout as presumed.
