In this life we live,
seeing, feeling, growing,
ever exploring.
Rationalizing, dehumanizing,
Mesmerizing, materializing.
All in our views everyday,
Everywhere, somewhere,
To know it in some way.
Keep it or forget it,
Make it last,
Or get away real fast.
Hoping and Praying the bad,
Will never last.
Families trying to cope,
streets filled with dope.
Rolling with the flow
we stopped, as the wheel went to slow.
Unemployments running dry,
No jobs left to even apply.
Downsizing, reorganizing,
patronizing, Americanizing.
Money going only to the rich,
All we do is talk and b!tch.
Hate, fate, hurry-up,
no-time to wait.
Run that light,
see a fight.
No-one can make this chit all right.
What have we become?
YOU tell me which way to run.
Everyone use to, just like to have fun.
Losing their homes, over-charged cell phones.
Twenty bucks, for one band-aid.
Where's Willie with some, Farm-aid.
Hell with THAT,
Where our WE with some, neighbor's aid.
Priest's raping little boys,
Parents with no food for their kids.
Let alone thinking, about a new toy.
Kids dropping out of school,
smoking, drinking, thinking their cool.
Mom's hustling the street corner,
Soon she'll be a goner.
Kids placed with the state,
To be adopted out, or celled to wait.
Husbands cheating on their wives,
Wives turn to a drink,
it makes them, less able to think!
YOU tell me how to turn THIS, all around.
Silents falls as no-one is found.
Our stage is set, thats the last bet.
The curtain starts its slow move pulling back.
Music shoots across the world SCREAMING.
THIS IS REALITY!!,
Yet we're all left, still f&king dreaming.

OUR truth is lived each day and is LEFT as this poem speaks of it.
MANY who fear or shy from THIS,,know it is in THEIR lives and don't want to STILL GREET IT,,wink.
ME,,I TRY not to hide from it nor except it all as THINGS that CANNOT CHANGE,,,if WE ALL work in POSITIVE WAYS to KNOW-IT is HERE.
Sorry if LIVING REAL,,brings so MANY down,

I will never live to NOT SEE our REAL LIVES, in this world and
the WRONGS which we just EXCEPT as ones WE CAN CHANGE.

MAKE a choice to NOT let THIS be your GRANDCHILDREN'S LIVES..
THATS all we can do....MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN THROUGH YOUR CHOICES!

I'm a Christian, yet I am NOT above talking in my voice and way.
I won't PLAYROLL my truth to be or be seen A NEW ME, for which I
DON'T LIVE...Like speaking only ONE WAY ON HERE, and then at another moment in my life out of public view,,I speak another voice.
MOST LIVE THAT,,,and I have viewed them as false people, to themselves and others. And I ask myself WHY? Would they want to do this.....Its to be LIKED and to be someone they WISHED THEY REALLY WERE.

Sad to say but 'yes' this is some peoples reality, and until they can change what is 'within' then it will continue to be their reality...
