In my case, it is important to develop a very good friendship with the
woman you are with before becoming excellent lovers. Women really enjoy
that and getting to know the person first mentally then the physical
aspect beomes stronger as time goes on. One important trait is to be a
good listener to your great lover.

Don....Sage

GREAT advise. I'm in agreement with you. Just because your friends,
don't assume that you could be great lovers. Becoming lovers can
obviously RUIN a great friendship. Just my 2 cents worth...take it or
leave it

My first relationship that lasted 8 years started out when I was 14 - he
was a friend of my middle brothers - a couple years older and we climbed
trees, chased frogs and watched baseball together - he was like another
brother....till I hit puberty and those hormones started in - then I
realized how cool he was....

Actually I was 8 when he started hangin out with my brothers but he was
a boy with cooties then LOL we started "dating" when I was 16....so
we were cootie friends, friends, then boyfriend girlfriend and it lasted
a long time

Don't think the becoming lovers hurt the friendship, it was the no
longer working at & earning the relationship. I really feel we work very
hard to get what we want, but fail to keep working to KEEP what we want.
Relationships take CONSTANT hard work.

i think they do, but most of the time in the end it ruins the friendship
you had.... its happened to me a few times and there is only one that i
still talk to and that is because he is still in love with me...

It's a fifty fifty chance you take when sleeping with your best friend!
Yes the passion is there and you know each others intimate details, but
that can be a double edged sword that you may fall on ending both a
friendship and relationship

I think becoming friends first and getting to know each other makes a
good base for a relationship...BUT not all friends will fit into this
category obviously...It's more about starting out slow and not jumping
in head first and letting the relationship evolve naturally I
think!!!!!!!!
