I had a book called Stone Soup that was great too...but nobody remembers that....

never heard of that one, but the "soup"part makes me think of the story"chicken soup with rice"

Loved the frog and toad series...I read that to my children for many years and will read it to my grandchildren too.

I remember the one book where it was becoming spring and Frog or Toad or whoever was trying to wake the other up from hibernation bein, like "Come on...get up...it's nice out now..."
