If you could recast any old TV show with actors / characters from a
another TV Show, what would you do? I would recast the original Star Trek with the cast from Pee-Wee's playhouse. Pee Wee would be Captain Kirk Jombi would be Spoke Uhura would be played by Chairy Bones would the the King of Cartoons (Damnit Jim, I show cartoons, I'm not a miracle worker!) Scotty would be played by Cowboy Curtis (Ya'll, I'm about to rustle us up some dilithium crystals. Yeee HAAAA) |

I would say Bush, Cheney, and Rove as the Three Stooges, but that would
ruin the fine reputation of classic comedy the Stooges gave us over the years. Bush & CO. couldn't find their way out of an empty room. |

It's hard to think about an old show with new actors, because
Hollywood's making them all into movies. get Smart's coming out next year with Steve Carrell as Maxwell Smart. Rumor has it that they're doing a movie version of "That Girl", the late '60's show with Lindsay Lothan in the Marlo Thomas role. |
