Bachelor/Bachelorette #1 - Strong willed and loyal, yet cynical and borderline insulting.

Bachelor/Bachelorette #2 - Pleasant, caring and sensitive to everybody, but highly likely to cheat because of their need for passion.

Bachelor/Bachelorette #3 - Boring and predictable, nothing really ever changes with them. Getting them to share feelings never comes easy.

#2, I would much rather take the chance of being cheated on than "fight" with a #3 trying to get them to open up and trust me. Also, I wouldn't want to put up with the emotional abuse of a #1.

If I were cheated on we'd be fighting, of course that makes the assumption that someone isn't including agreed upon extramarital relationships as cheating. As for #1 being emotional abuse I wouldn't necessarily consider sarcasm abuse. Which is part of what I meant when I said there could be other factors.

#3 seems the safer path on the surface, but #1 has the most to gain, but at a price. #1 would have to learn manners real quick, or she's walking the streets.laugh

We will find something that we don't like in everybody.

I am curious as to what people reading this, pictured in their mind for each one, was there any curiousity of one of their personalities or if there might be more to them, or is it simply a rejection and refusal of choice because the original query was the product of another's mind, making it totally alien to our individual realizations?

I know, blah blah blah.....

Perhaps my response means that I should have posted in the philosophy forums. :)

True, no one is going to be the "perfect" match. But I think we can all do a far sight better than the choices given. I think part of the reason for so many people opting for "none of the above" is because even in those traits that one finds pretty much universally bad there are degrees that might be ok. For instance I'm a very difficult person to insult. In generally I love sarcasm so to say someone is sarcastic almost to the point of being insulting means to me they are incredibly rude. #2 while infidelity is not good I'm not devastated over that sort of thing, but the implication for me is that the person is dishonest and that is a HUGE deal to me (I'm also not a fan of insecurity in my partner). The point is each of us read our worst case situation into those traits whether they are traits we my be fine with in the right circumstances or they are traits we really hate. Really hard to make a choice under those circumstances.

None of the above; would rather stay single.
