We will fight one-another, over who's the best sports team.
Get in someone's face, yell, curse, and be so visibly mean.
Over a team that we don't even know one real player personally.
What does this speak of who we our as a race, emotionally?
Can WE not just over-look ones with a different opinion to show.
If you who fought over a team, were killed, they wouldn't even know.
They wouldn't even care, they wouldn't lose one minute of sleep.
Yet we build these GAMES to mean EVERYTHING, some even weep.
More than family, more than work, lives spent watching every move.
If your not into their ways, then your not into their groove.
All of life STOPS. When their game is on that TV, or their there!
This seems to be America, this seems to be the popular way.
I just don't understand it all, and take this as just another DAY.
