Just after the price went up over $4.00 a gallon, they started drilling on 50+ rigs in Ft Stockton. The folks they hired took all the available housing, they filled the hotels, filled the RV Parks and one oil co. just finished two sections of land to house more workers.

When the price of gas went down a little, the drilling slowed down also.

There's boom going on here. They're also putting in a CO2 plant and piping it all over the state.
