I am leaning towards low memory. Norton does consume quite a bit of memory.

The problem with that theory though, is if multiple windows are causing the problem, then you should be getting errors.. "low virtual memory" or "pure vital function call" so the system does not seem to be recognizing the issue.

In the post above, HawaiiMusikMan, has a good illustration, but i can say, that these components will not always tell on themselves (visually) though more often than not, a capacitor will spew. I am an electrician, and an electronics tech, so i do have experience with boards.

I'm going with HawaiiMusikMan's advice, in at least temporarily removing Norton, for the sake of troubleshooting. Elimination is key. Try that, and see if the problem clears.

All very good advice:
Have you simply used Task Manger to monitor application memory usage?
It may give a glance of which application maybe spiking memory/cpu at the time of freeze.

well,still frezing,

no leaking capasitors,nu funny smells also on motherboard
or videocard.

all fans working perfect,

i removed windows internet explorer, some people i know said they where having problems with that.

i have removed norton.

and at this moment i also removed opera browser.
i use that browser because i like it better than explorer/chrome and firefox.

so now im waiting again to see if it will frees or not

graphics are always good,no problem there.

to up2us, cpu only uses at moment it freezes only 3%

Have you run a RAM-check utility?

If not, I suggest memtest ...

http://www.memtest.org/

downloads ...
http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

My guess is you'll want this one:
http://www.memtest.org/download/4.00/memtest86+-4.00.iso.zip

Unzip it, then burn the ISO image to a CD, reboot
(make sure your machine is set to boot initially
from a CD), then run it to check your RAM.

(I have another suggestion, but will save it until
after the RAM test is done).

Update your hardware drivers direct from the manufactures website, especially you video card and chipset. example: if you have an Nvidia graphics card, get the latest driver for it from Nvidia's site. If you have an intel chipset, go to intel's site & get the latest.

hi guys,

thanks for thinking and helping.
i think i finaly found what the freezing causes.
it turnt out that my mouse sometimes goes crazy and
that made my computer to freez.
now i have put on a other mouse and since then everything is working perfect again.

btw, windows Vista requires twice as much memory than other operating systems.

I have never seen a computer freezing from a mouse.

Your mouse doesn't go crazy, it's the other way around..something causing your pc to have your mouse cursor or the mouse input or it has nothing to do with the mouse in the first place.

Do this:

click start ---> type in the field dxdiag

hit "enter" on your keyboard.

You will get this:

show what the text file says (copy/paste)

only the first part though, here is mine for example:
