here's Rush's / The MobFather's response to the " State of Obama " speech...the interview will air on Fox and Friends in the morning...tomorrow and Friday...

I gave up after 50 minutes. I heard it all before. There was nothing new in it. The only difference was the tone. I went back and listened to some of his soaring rhetorical speeches during the campaign. This was defensive, petulant, immature, childish, sarcastic. He's clearly angry that he's been rejected -- that his wonderfully brilliant ideas (health care and cap and trade) have been rejected. I saw a guy, a young, inexperienced guy just mad. I think, Gretchen -- I really do. I think this is the first time in his life that there's not a professor around to turn his C into an A or to write the law review article for him that he can't write. He's totally exposed. There's nobody to make it better. I think he's been covered for all of his life. The fact that his agenda has totally failed this year is the best thing that could have happened to this country. I thank God every day that this is going down the tubes, that that Massachusetts election happened. Not that God had anything to do with it. That's just the person I thank.

I'm just glad the majority of America is finally waking up and seeing his radical policies! The polls are creeping further and further away from him every day!

I don't like Rush and I probably heard him on the radio about 3 times in my life.

But he is right on with the speech, when I heard it, it was like a carbon-copy of the same rhetoric I have heard in 2008 during the campaign.

Almost like it was recorded in 2008 and replayed it and only changed the background behind him.

"The number who Strongly Disapprove of the president’s performance held steady at 41% in January. The number who Strongly Approve inched up a point to 27%. That leads to a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14.

Also in January, the president’s total approval improved a point to 47%. This is the first time since May that the president’s full-month approval rating has moved up. His total disapproval in January also showed a slight improvement by falling a point to 52%."

Depending on how much Oxycontin he ingested...his perception of the first 50 minutes is questionable too, no? Oh...he can't REALLY hear either, huh?

I think he traded his lifetime supply of Oxycontin for a set of red-and-black Audio devices from Switzerland's Phonak AG Corp...but...I may be mistaken...

and what might these be? with the exception of the healthcare bill, everything else is a continuation of Bush policies....so i guess you're admitting Bush was a radical or are they just radical when a Dem does it?

I didn't understand the lecture on spending on things you can't afford, then turning around in the same breath and telling us how he is going to spend more money. (to cheers, even)

The people of the USA wake up as fast as they go back to sleep . If you're hoping for some great change you're going to have to run for office yourself . Brain dead is brain dead .
