Another one of my my "quirks", i assume it's related to aspergers. I have what my mom calls a "gag reflex" which sometimes goes into vomiting. A few little things can set it off. I can't pick up after an animal without gagging, and other stuff, i won't go into because it'd be a TMI. But this can also affect relationships with women. I've noticed that when i go to the beach, there was an overweight woman about in a bikini, and it was all i could do to keep from gagging in front of her. I felt HORRABLE! I just could not control it. I did gag, but i just told her it was a virus or something. What could i say. That's also the reason why my family never wanted me married because of kids and when there's kids, there's DIAPERS! I know i won't be able to handle that.
Looks are not that important, but as long as i have this "gag reflex" problem, i just don't stand a chance.

I was afraid to post this because it's sounds like i'm "shallow", i'm not really. But this gag reflex is gonna cause problems for me. believe it or not, i just can't help it, believe me, i tried....i just can't. I can and do looke beyond the physicle attributes, but this gagging thing as nothing to do with the inside or spirituality or personality. It is a physical thing that i can't control once it's triggered. Is there a docter on this board who would know something about this?

OMG CRACK ME UP!!! I thought my gag reflex was bad, but I can't say seeing an obese man in a thong or an obese woman in a bikini has ever physically made me gag. Just in my mind!!!
I have issues taking pills or if I see someone else vomit.
Oddly, my cat will start a coughing fit and it gets his gag reflex in gear and causes him to vomit.
I do know there are ointments one can put under the nose above the lip for bad smells that cause gagging, like people who deal with forensics use it for a smelly death or scene. But I don't know what you would do about the visual.
