Thats sucks Tim it really does. I would be lost without my friends atm. My brother died 3 years ago today and I have been missing him like crazy.Then in the past two weeks his daughter who is 29 years old was diagnosed with cancer. I have to help her with her baby as much as possible. So sorry to hear about this Betty. You and your family are in my prayers.

Have you ever has a friend on here that made you feel like your friednship was just as important to them as it was to you,only to find out you really mean nothing to them at all? How do you handle this? How is this different from real life ... ? Handle it ... ? Forget 'em and move on. End of problem. You think that is a tough guy thing? some women I hear it from too. Seems they have had more experience at it. I just really don't want to get hard hearted but live and learn to guard my heart better the next time. Your so right C. I put my gaurd up a little too much (after the 'D') and am fighting to break it down now. But...worked very hard at not getting cynical at life, it's pretty easy to get that way otherwise if a person doesn't take care. It IS very different in the cyber world, because you really have to spend time getting to decipher a person and what their words mean because you have no facial/body language to go on. I think because you spend that time on learning the people who live in your computer, you grow fonder of them in a way than those you meet or see almost everyday. People appear, to me, to show more of their real selves here because lack of all the fore mentioned clues. They also think more about what they're going to say.

Your neice must be very young, you are a strong woman to stand up to help her, as we get older you don't see as many people reaching out to extended family that much anymore. It's sad the way the world has become so selfish. Send me her name and will put her on the prayer list at work. I am a true beliver of the healing power of prayer.

Thank you Shasta, Her parents died five weeks apart,she is an only child except for a half sister who is a bit of a nut case. I was in total denial about this,thought she was being a drama queen ,cause she is, but when she showed me the tumours growing from her abdomen and protruding out I had to face reality. Now I feel like a piece of garbage for not being there more for her and not believing her. All I can do now is tell her I will be there for her from now on.
