Forgive me for not loggin', though a SOLID fan times infinity! I've literally lost hours I can never get back layin' link bricks here for this God amongst musician/songwriter/balladeers ... I prolly best love Blood on the Tracks, then Blonde on Blonde ... I love whiskey jar gravel voices ... His voice, Leon Redbone, Leon Russel, Dr John, Tom Waits, Joe Cocker ... and so forth, yum! The voices many hate ... Fekk the haters, they can play Manilow! Funnily, 'Lay, Lady, Lay' is the one that the radios played enough that ! never even want to hum it again, much less hear it! Hate that when good songs are played out, esp. when they make them commercial jingles, grrrrrrrr ... PET PEEVE! |
