I spend too much time writing –
Reading – But there’s nothing else to do – Profile after profile -- they say “I have nothing to say – Imagine what it would be like If I was around every day” The boredom waltz – A tune Full of narcolepsy (Get the smelling salts) Cut from the same sheet – Cardboard de rigueur – Reality/banality And now, what passes for Unique – Is a hole in the ground An empty gray box – “Cliché” – the new standard Of excellence, of “Be the best you can be” A lifelike façade – A blur – “She’s almost real, She’s almost alive” She almost had a thought That went past TV Reality/Click here |

The depth of reality lost to that pot-hole in the road.

This speaks to me, Lex...literally. Nice write, man, loved the movement from line to line and of course the ever expansive Lex-vocabulary.
