Grease a 9X13 inch pan. Layer the bottom with bread. Sprinkle with 1 lb. sausage and 8oz shredded cheese. 1 cup chopped onions optional.

Mix 6 eggs and 2 cups milk and pour the mixture over the sausage and cheese.

Bake at 350 for 35 - 40minutes. (top will start to brown)

Salt and pepper to taste.

sounds kinda like my big breakfast

when cooking for more than five or six people

bake up a bunch of biscuits and line a pan with em

fry up a mess o' bacon and lay it on the biscuits

scramble up a dozen or so eggs and spoon it over the bacon

pour country gravy over the whole thing and serve

I've only tried it once, and I used pre-cooked casing sausage, so good point.

I'm going to try it just using a ground breakfast sausage, and let you know how it goes.
