Best was probably Journey, worst had to be Nick Gildner as opener.

I saw them in the 70's then again in '08, big difference when Perry left the band...When I saw them in '08 Cheap Trick and Heart played then after a few songs of Journey we left. The lead singer they found off of Youtube...sorry...rock love ballads singe me nuggets. They had some great songs tho~...give them that.

Anyone see Joe Cocker? That's always memorable....

I saw Journey (with Heart and Cheap Trick) last year with Arnel (?) as the lead singer. I was pleasantly surprised.

Best show I've ever seen was Cyndi Lauper and Alanis Morrisette (sp?) doing a surprise private concert at a lounge I was hanging out one night in Manhattan.

Yeah same tour...Heart is always great..Cheap Trick is fun to see.

Heart didn't play this...WTF.

Best- Journey-1979, I think I lost some hearing at that one
Aerosmith- after they cleaned up- high energy
Lenny Kravitz-he's just so cool
Metallica- seen 3 times, always good

Worst-Headliner-Guns and Roses playing with Metallica. Opening act was Faith No More. I absolutely love Faith No More but they sucked that night. The crowd booed Axl Rose and chanted for Metallica to come back up. This was during their Welcome To The Jungle tour.

Best would have to be the Flectones with Jeff Coffin a few years back. Oh, and Gov't Mule, Allman Bros, Buddy Guy, Doobie Bros, and Derek Trucks at Wannee last year was insane.

Worst would have to be Eric Johnson with his shitty bassist Rosco at the Freebird. What a disappointment that was.

BEST!

Moody Blues, Cat Stevens

HONOURABLE MENTION:

Ray Charles, Allman Bros, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Shawn Phillips, Yes, David Bowie, Townes Van Zandt, Emmy Lou Harris, Liitle Feat (over and over!), Robert Palmer, Leon Russell, Willis Allan Ramsey, Dr John, Tom Waits, Joe Cocker, Taj Mahal, Bela Flec, Neville Bros, Lennie Kravitz ...

Gawd, the gifts that can just keep givin'; I'll stop here!

I'd currently like to see Diana Krall, Jet, Norah Jones, Derek Trucks and Suzanne Tedeschi, Adelle, Pink ... hey, Miles Davis and The Beatles too ... So many!

WORST!

Bob Dylan (Hurricane Tour), Pink Floyd and Joni Mitchell ... love then all but these particular shows were horrific, off the hook, sound flops!

MOST MINDBLOWING?PINK FLOYD -THE WALL FEB. 1980 LOS ANGELES SPORTS ARENA

Dick...I never got to see them together, but have to give both PF and Roger post Final Cut high marks for great shows. Saw the Learning To Fly and Division Bell twice..then Roger in Dallas '07...anytime you can hear an original Dark Side set then you've just seen your best show.

[url

Yeah, check out Roger's solo stuff....Amused To Death and Radio KAOS..as good as The Wall as concept recordings.

That is Jeff Beck on the axe..
