Hi anormlguy,

I believe what you are receiving are notices for Mutual Match. The following link explains Mutual Match

http://mingle2.com/mutual_match/faq

Hope this helps,

Kim

But before you start saying yes to everyone. Just note: they really didn't say they did yet.

Welcome to the forums, anormlguy. To add to what yellowrose10 posted, that means that a person either clicked "Yes" or "Maybe" to you on Mutual Match.

But before you start saying yes to everyone. Just note: they really didn't say they did yet.

I'm not sure if markc48 is suggesting that the "Somebody wants to meet you" emails are fake (my apologies if I have misunderstood, markc48), but I want to make it clear that they are real. If one has no use for Mutual Match, that is fine. The most important thing is that one is meeting new people. We're not looking to fool anybody into using it.

i have noticed in the past which i dont click the matches anymore
that if you click maybe you figure that it wouldnt go on your match page.. but it does.... it gets frustrating especially when you cant delete them.

You should be able to remove any and all Mutual Matches, Queen123. If this is not the case, email me (do not post them here) the user names of the accounts.

Charles, I think Markc is trying to say that some of the mutual matches are generated by a members preferences they pre-selected in their settings. I am thinking this because I have clicked yes or maybe on lots of mutual matches and never heard back from those persons. Has something changed in MM that now only people that say yes or maybe are the only ones being shown in my MM?

If I remember correctly, the ones you see in your potential MM candidates are drawn from all those who fall within your settings, but the "Someone Wants To Meet You On Mingle2" e-mails aren't generated until someone rates you a Yes or a Maybe.

Thanks for clearing that up. I know better now.
