I've always been amazed at people who are good at the drums. I mean a horn or a guitar, or a woodwind is one thing, but the drums, you have a lot of stuff going on at once with the snare, bass, toms, hi-hat, and all the different cymbals. Crazy mad stuff, and I admire anyone who can play such a complicated instrument.

Flute. Well, I was forced to play the flute. I didn't like it.

Played French Horn for 8 years. 5th grade through a year in college. Preferred orchestral and then solos and small ensembles.
Funny enough, I just picked it up again. Enjoying it, though sadly out of shape and memory. Good thing I kept most of the lesson plans. I enjoyed it, and music with horns is my favorite. |
