There is plenty of research out there that self-care is imporant. This means making sure to take time for yourself to destress and relax.


What do you do for self-care? On a daily basis? Monthly? Once a year?

Hmmmmm.

Daily... Exercise.
Monthly... Ride my quad as often as I can.
Yearly... Take a shower. (ahahahaha)

Nope, I live in a cave with bats. I'm the lesser of the two evils :laughing:

I try to make sure that I walk every day for 20+ minutes at least.

I make sure that I keep my surroundings comfortable for me.

I listen to my body, if it needs more rest I give some. I take vitamins and fish oil.

I don't eat fried foods but maybe a couple of times a year and same with soda.

I don't drink but a couple of times a year.

I gave up smoking last year.

My self talk is positive.

I try to keep negativity to a minimum if not absent altogether.

I try to be positive to others, it makes both of our days better.


That is all I can think of for now. But I know there is more.

I eat healthy, I work out, I meditate, I pray, I use aromatherapy, I do body cleanses every 3 months, I clean and balance my chakra's, I'm optimistic and positive and I take a hot oil bath each day...and I feel pretty damned good!!
