Topic: Group date??? | |

so advice for group dates: Just relax. Dont stress yourself out. Have fun, laugh hardy and have a good time. If she doesnt want a second date oh well her loss right? At least you had a good time.
And if she does, then great. You dont have to pretend to be anything you're not and you SHOULDN'T pretend to be anything you're not, either. If you portray a lie, you either have to live that lie or admit you were full of crap, either way the truth comes out eventually and starting anything based off a lie is never a good way to build trust. |

*note to self* Guys and girls who group date are way to young/immature to be dating.

it has nothing to do with maturity, mom. ;) Um, I know you aren't talking to me! I am not a breeder nor do I care to be a "mom" to anyone. I simply said I would never date a guy that isn't confident enough to date me without being around a bunch of friends like a fieldtrip. I date YOUNG guys too but not one of them has ever said "group date". I'd have to laugh at him and hang up! It is about maturity and confidence. |

I have no problem with a group date. As long as the group consists of solely members of the opposite sex and I can hit on all of them freely. Sort of like speed dating but without the competition.

Can I bring my stuffed animals or do I have to leave them at home? And who's going to change my Pull Up?

Does going to a Lakers game count as a group date? I think Staples Center holds about 20,000 people.

Would make more sense just to throw a party, at least you know what you're getting into and it doesn't seem like a kindergarten outing.

I've never been on one, but it sounds weird..... More unnerving than anything...nothing like being packed into a small pub with at least 2 people you don't have any particular interest in just to get to that one person that you are actually interested in. Figuratively speaking, "It is a minefield out there, run through as quick as you can". There is enough pressure for most dates anyway, let alone to also go on a date with all of your "childhood" friends. Once again, that is probably why I didn't last with any of the ex's that thought that was a bright idea...I'm not here to impress anyone, either you like me or you don't like me. |
