Every dog we have had has come from the Humane Society and was at least 3 years old. I always felt these were the ones less likely to get a home so we gave them one. I just don't understand people dumping a dog to fend for itself. It breaks my heart! your just to damn sweet Jayne Well thanks but i don't think it is sweet. It's just feeling sorry for these dogs that people think they can just toss aside after the puppy stage is over IF and I mean IF!! I ever get a dog again It will be one thats more like me old and grumpy that no one wants good! and you can name her Betsy Well you said you wanted old some how I dont think Betsy would be a good name for a male dog Name him Sue. Then he for sure will grow up Grumpy. That's what I was thinking....in fact the song has been running through my head for the last couple minutes...... My name is Sue...how do you do?.....
