Make sure it's fresh. Freshest if you hit it yourself.
2lbs of your favorite road-kill. 1 onion chopped 4 med size potatoes 1 bag of carrots 1 head of cabbage cut 1/2 gal water 1 tblsp season salt 1 tblsp cajun seasoning 1 tblsp black pepper 10 shakes of Louisiana Hot sauce 1 clove garlic grated 1 12 oz beer After you have dressed and cleaned your animal, cut it up in bite sized pieces and brown it. Take a slug off yer beer. Using a big pot, add meat, water, carrots, all the seasonings and get it up ta' boiling. Take another slug from yer beer. Add potatoes and cabbage. Boil for another 35 minutes. Turn the4 heat off and leave covered for 10 more minutes. That'll give you time to finish yer beer. Who wants to come over for dinner? Pot Luck! |

Long as it isn't squirrel. Squirrel sucks, opossum is much better. Just have to drain off more grease with opossum. To make a pound of squirrel, you'd have to squash a bunch of 'em. I don't think they run in herds. |
