yeah, having the breaker panel to an apartment locked up and not accesible is a serious code violation and would prolly get him a couple thousand dollar fine from the city building inspector
and in most states he can't evict you for that |

Next time it sets the smoke alarm off...call the fire department....they will in turn call the owner and he will have to fix it.... i did that they wont do any thing with out a fire |

well my landlord never came here to day either to look at the light. looks like i'll be moving the F**k out cant live like this to make it worse the tap in the bathroom that they did just fix last week broke again the cold water has been running since late yesterday and its not just a drip its running full fores.

if u are sure that u are unsafe u do not have to pay your rent till it is fixed to my knowledge.. u can have a couple of electricians come out take a look at it.. write that down.. also take pictures.. he can not evict u for that!

also sometimes your local electric company has people sometimes to come out and inspect.. get it in writing..
