Hell no! It's not just a mans job...I like to get my hands dirty too you know...

Just as long as you clean the grease and grime from out of your fingernails, afterwards.

That's gross.

well damn right i wash afterwards!

Since this thread is revived, and not too many people are coming up with new threads, let me ask a fair question(s):

Ladies, why don't you like to work on cars? Is it the grease and grime? Is it too complicated for you? Do you think it's too labor intensive? They do have power tools now to make the job easier. Pneuematic wrenches and computer diagnoses make it a little easier too. Is it "man's work?" Come on ladies, why don't you like to get dirty and get under the hood?

I will work on my own car.

I do hate getting the oil out of my finger nails though. I have natural long nails and that grease really gets up under them.

They have soaps you can buy at Autozone or any other autoparts store that are quite good at dissolving away that stubborn auto-grime. Kudos for getting under the hood, now if we can get more women to get dirty. It's just dirt, it washes out. Little soap, little detergent, everything is clean again.
