Charles Woodson cb for the Green Bay Packers is the NFL defensive player of the year. Woodson recorded his best season of his excellent career. He recorded 74 tackles,9 ints, 2sacks, 4 forced fumbles and scored 3tds. Woodson is only the second Green Bay player to win the award. He is also the first cornerback to win the award since Deion Sanders back in 1994.

He really resurrected his career in GreenBay. They got him pretty cheap, too. When he left the Raiders, some people were saying he was done, and he really couldn't command as big a price as some free-agents. The fact is, he was just stuck in a very bad organization, on a bad football team. It was a good move for both Woodson and the Packers.

If Al Harris was healthy, the Pack might have been able to keep Arizona under 50 points last week.

I agree Al Harris is a physical corner, if he is healthy the pack may have had a better chance. Al Harris within in that 5yd bubble is the toughest corner in the league, he is a heavy hitter and has great hands. Woodson is arguably a better all around talent but Al Harris is a top Cover guy in the league. Definitely seemed as though Charles Woodson was in a tough situation with the Raiders, what started as a promising team in the beginning, ended with a mess the last 5 years.
