Stop crying and get over it...She did the crime and she wasn't
crying...NOW she can do the time....Just like anyone else would have
to!!!!!!!!

I think she tried to be above the law, pissed the judge off & now he is
making an example of her. I agree with the judge & think she should get
even more contempt of court time. You or I would.

She needs to just stop snivelling and do the time. Any of us would not
be let out on electronic monitoring, why should she?

Exactly and she was let go by someone that did not have the authority to
do so...That would be the same as a prison guard releasing a federal
inmate because he felt sorry for him/her.....This situation was no
different...The person that released her went against a judge's
order...That is not how the justice system works and I would not want to
be the person that released her right now!!!!!!!!!!

It would seem that people who live their whole lives in fantacy land
have a hard time dealing with the real world.

I agree and I think they count on their money and status to always get
them out of jams...BUT in this case it didn't work!!!!!!!

What's up with this President Bush thing? He's done the crime, will he
do the time?...yep..one rule for the average Joe, and yep another rule
for the American Royalty.

Sensationalised, media homogenised, and neatly packaged...keep your eye
on the bouncing ball folks...no-one will notice what the elected leader
of the country, is doing while the media keeps you all entertained with
the girl with the big sunglasses..grumble

Well I agree that justice needs to be applied evenly and yes even he
should have it applied to him...Bush that is...Justice is suppose to be
blind for a reason...It doesn't recognize status, stars, presidents
etc!!!!!!!!

What I don't understand is why that girl didn't have a driver in the
first place! I mean really! She can afford one for herself and half of
the drunks on the road!

Truthfully I don't know if its doing her any good serving the time as
they don't even have her in with the gereral population but in the
medical ward instead cause she is so unstable.

Our society as a whole is lead around like a herd of cattle by the
media. The media is also politically motivated. If news about spoiled
celebs sells then thats what we get. But really, would any celebs give a
rats but if one of us 'common folk' went to jail?

Ms. Hilton was tried, convicted & abused her sentence, that is why she
is in trouble now. Has nothing to do with a POLITICAL situation.
Neither Bush or Clinton was tried for ANY crime or sentenced. Do NOT
see any comparision.

I'm not saying the Hilton case was political. I'm saying that especially
in politics the media can portray a person as a bad guy or a good guy.
We only know what 'they' tell us.
