Taking a life for justice is far different in my eyes than taking a life
just because you feel like it!!!!!!!!!

I agree it is still taking a life...BUT with purpose and reason behind
it!!!!!!!!

Most people whom you recognize as murderers feel the same way.

I work in the system also. After years of dealing with that type of
person. I support the death penalty. People argue that noes not reduce
the crime rate. It doesn't. The death penalty is not used correctly.
When they sit on death row for sometimes over 20 years due to the
generous appeal system it becomes uneffective as a deturant to severe
crime. Do ya ever wonder why other countries with more people per square
mile don't have the crime rates that we do????????????
Look at their punnishments for the crimes.

Yes but they are wrong...Can there ever be a reason to kill a child or
another innocent???????

I see it as an act of selfdefense. If not for me & mine ,then for some
other HELPLESS person.

>> Yes but they are wrong

Yes. Usually, they are very, very wrong. And the rationalizations they
use (to justify the murder in their own minds) are also wrong.

WE DO NOT HAVE THE DEATH PENALTY IN AUSTRALIA AND I HOPE WE NEVER EVER
INTRODUCE IT AGAIN.

Said that as a joke, but maybe a world penal Island is what we need.
Put the really bad people on it & let them do as they will. Once on
island, you can never leave. I would go for that.

there's not a single person i would like to see executed.

murdering the murderer places us right at their level...it cheapens
us...all you have to do is read through a thread like this to see the
absolute cruelty our race is capable of.

it should never be our right to take another's life.

(off to work, should i later need to reply)

Against.

(and Australia was one big island gaol...now it is just America's little
side- kick...)

Statistics compiled by the 'system' indicate 90% of persons convicted of
child molestation either have done it before or will do it again after
released from prison. What's wrong with this picture. How many times do
we let them out before we say, OK we've had enough of you?
