OK last summer we go camping, we are all out fishing I look down and a crawdad is crawling by. Bug grabs it, before I can tell her it has pinchers. I show her then take it over to my nephew thinking he is gonna think it is cool. Well just as I get there it flipped it tail and the poor kid freaked out and almost sent himself and his mom into the drink. It was freaking hilarious!!!

omg did you get it on tape? that would have been an AFV moment for sure.. Of course you should be walking around recording everything with some of the moments you have..

Of course you should be walking around recording everything with some of the moments you have.. your telling me, I need a cam on my hat all the time. "Moments in the life of Tom" Another time I took him out scouting, we are walking and talking. We both see something shiny on the ground. I knew he was gonna pick it up. So, he reaches down picks it up. It was a shell of a green june bug. He flips it over and it is full of ants. He is deathly afraid of bugs. He scream like a girl and throws it while jumping up and down. He was 10 at the time. I was rolling. |

I dont think I am that curious but would def. do it if I was in a bad situation. I could eat anything. I want to go to one of those wilderness survival schools, just to do it. |

he was a trip... I don't think he tried too many different bugs but I do recall the red ant.. I thought he was crazy, he thought I was for thinking so...

Well at those schools its not just about eating bad stuff, its about survivng the elements and yourself if ever injured or lost.

My mind is at peace once again...no monsters for a while here. Nature always does it for me in that regard. Such perfect camping weather today too..... Hmm, maybes I goes this wknd with my co worker and her husband, theyre nutzo like mees.
