The fact that nothing in the sac would cause me concern but it's been a long time since I was pregnant. Was your doctor concerned? I recall cramping being normal with pregnancy and a few of my friends have had spotting and delivered beautiful children. I wish you the best and TRY not to worry, not good for either of ya!

At 5 weeks I'd assume it's extremely hard to see a baby... I'm not sure if I would be worried or not?
What did you doctor say? Did he / she say it was normal to not see anything in the sac at this point? |

he said theres a chance it's too early to see anything but the sac but my blood test and the size of the sac was not adding up right

usually nothing can be seen until at least 6 weeks. If your placenta is enlarged it could be a sign of diabetes. In any case these are questions that should be posed to your doctors. You are extemely early in your pregnacy. Did they say if your cervix was completely shut? If its not that can be a sign of spontaneous abortion.
Again, these are all questions that need to be posed to your physicians. |

If there was a cause for concern, they wouldn't have released you from the hospital. Stressing about it will only make your cramping worse. Take a long hot shower and relax. Follow up with your ob as soon as you can get in. Otherwise, don't stress. Write your questions down so that you can remember them when you see your ob.
