While you are at secondary school you are advised that if you want to get a better job you should go to secondary school.

While you are at secondary school you are told that to get a good job you ought to go to university. You go to university and just prior to graduation someone tells you that for a really good job you need to go for a master's degree. Eventually you get your master's - only to be told that to be really successful requires a doctorate. On achieving the doctorate and feeling confident after so many years of studies you go looking for a job. To your surprise! everyone is looking for younger people. |

I concur and that is why I'm stopping at BS! |
