I have to beat my brain
To keep you satisfied I have to cut the chains And let out what's inside I have to beat upon my brain to get my tongue untied And my distinguished peers Never know what it means I think that it appears Easier than it seems They whine and bitch about their little aches and pains I'll sympathize after they beat their brains And when the well is dry I get so damned annoyed That I do things that I Most often will avoid Because I beat upon my brain to keep from being unemployed I know one thing for sure I don't care what you say There is no simple cure For when I feel this way It's the one thing in my life To which I claim to cling I beat my brain to become intersting I've a blatent disrespect for sensible restraint From time to time I tend to rule to rhyme And I'm sick and tired of always trying to explain Words only happen when I beat my brain |

many of us try to beat our brain when we don't have the words to explain
what we feel inside. i like your poem and find every word very true sometimes writing rymes is the only way to release stress in our daily lives |
